Information We Collect
When you register for Founder's Day Minnesota 2026, we collect your name, email address, and payment information necessary to process your registration. If you volunteer, we also collect your phone number and availability preferences.
We do not collect or store information about your recovery status, sobriety date, or fellowship membership beyond what you voluntarily provide. We respect the traditions of anonymity central to AA and Al-Anon.
How We Use Your Information
- Process your event registration and payment
- Send order confirmations and event reminders

- Coordinate volunteer assignments
- Generate anonymized attendance reports for event planning
Payment Security
All payment processing is handled by Square, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. A 3% processing fee is added to all transactions.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the event (payment processing, email delivery, SMS notifications) and only to the extent needed for those services.
Anonymity and Traditions
Founder's Day Minnesota respects the Twelve Traditions of AA and Al-Anon, particularly the tradition of anonymity. We will never publicly identify attendees as members of AA or Al-Anon. Event photographs, if taken, will not be shared publicly without consent.
Data Retention
We retain your registration information for the duration of the event year for operational purposes. After the event, personal data is retained only as required for financial record-keeping and future event planning. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
