When and where is Founder's Day 2026?
Saturday, November 28, 2026, 8:30 AM to midnight, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington – Minneapolis South, 7800 Normandale Blvd, Bloomington, MN 55439.
How do I register, and what does it cost?
Pre-registration is $25 on our tickets page. Registration at the door is $30. The evening banquet is a separate $60 ticket. A processing fee (Square's 2.9% + $0.30) is added at checkout.
What is included with my registration?
Full day access, all speakers, a continental breakfast and coffee breaks. The day includes speakers Debbie D. (10:00 AM, AA, Concord, CA), David E. (3:15 PM, Al-Anon, Chicago, IL) and Brent H. (7:30 PM, AA, Los Angeles, CA), an AA history panel, Al-Anon and YPAA workshops, call-up step meetings, hospitality suites, and a dance. The banquet dinner is not included; it is a separate $60 ticket.
Can I get a refund if I can't attend?
All ticket sales are final, so we can't refund a ticket if you can't attend. You can transfer your ticket to someone else up to 7 days before the event. If the event is cancelled, you get a full refund. Details are on our refunds page.
Are hospitality suites available?
Yes. Groups and meetings host hospitality suites during the event. To book a suite for your group, visit the hospitality page.
Is the event accessible?
A sign language interpreter is available where indicated, with reserved seating for the deaf and hard of hearing at the front of the right section of the Grand Ballroom. For any other accommodation, please contact us before the event.
Is Founder's Day open to newcomers and Al-Anon members?
Yes. Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to AA or Al-Anon or have many years of recovery. See our newcomers page for what to expect.
