General Refund Policy

All ticket sales for Founder's Day Minnesota 2025 are final. We do not provide refunds for individual cancellations, changes in personal circumstances, or inability to attend the event for personal reasons.

This policy helps us maintain affordable ticket prices and ensures we can properly plan for catering, venue arrangements, and other event logistics that require advance commitments.

Event Cancellation by Organizers

In the unlikely event that Founder's Day Minnesota 2025 is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, public health emergencies, or venue unavailability), full refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the cancellation announcement.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for ticket purchase. If the original payment method is no longer valid, alternative arrangements will be made to ensure you receive your refund.

Event postponement does not qualify for automatic refunds. If the event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, please see our transfer policy below.

Ticket Transfer Policy

Tickets may be transferred to another person up to 7 days before the event date. To transfer your ticket, please contact us at [email protected] with the following information:

  • Your original registration confirmation number
  • Full name and email address of the new attendee
  • Any dietary restrictions or special accommodations needed

Ticket transfers must be completed at least 7 days before the event to allow time for processing and name badge preparation. Transfer requests received less than 7 days before the event cannot be accommodated.

Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases involving documented medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Such requests must be submitted in writing with appropriate documentation at least 14 days before the event.

Emergency circumstances that may qualify for consideration include:

  • Serious illness or injury requiring hospitalization
  • Death in the immediate family
  • Military deployment or emergency service obligations
  • Other documented emergencies beyond the attendee's control

Approval of exceptional circumstance refunds is at the sole discretion of the event organizers and is not guaranteed. If approved, a processing fee may apply.

Hospitality Suites and Additional Services

Hospitality suite bookings and additional services (such as meal upgrades or special accommodations) follow the same refund policy as general admission tickets. These services are non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation by organizers.

Hotel room cancellations must be handled directly with the hotel according to their cancellation policy. Event organizers are not responsible for hotel booking refunds.

Refund Processing Information

When refunds are issued, they will be processed within 30 business days and returned to the original payment method. Credit card refunds may take 3-5 additional business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.
